.Dhanaulti must watch out tourist places are Eco Park in Dhanaulti is a newly developed park by the DFO and citizens of Dhanaulti , which houses the deodar trees. There are two Eco-parks about 200 m apart, Amber and Dhara. Being a forest conserved area and looked after by the forest division of Garhwal region, there is an entry fee for the visitors.Surkanada Devi temple is at a distance of8 kms from Dhanaulti. This temple is dedicated to the famous Parvati Devi who is revered in the region by the locals. This temple is located at a height of about 10,000 feet and requires a trek of about 1.5 kms from the base of the hill.In Dhanaulti, the large expanses of potato farm also known as Aloo Khet, is a place where the tourists can have a walk. These fields belong to the government and also are owned by private farmers. The production of potatoes is substantial and is supplied to many places outside the state of Uttarakhand.The potato farms are about 1 km from the main market and from here the Doon valley is clearly visible. Horse ride is also available to go around these potato farms.

My family of 5 with 3 kids just returned from Uttarakhand. It was a wonderful experience. There was not much hiccups. Thanks to the preparation and planning of our local guide Mr Yogesh.
